This is a skull ring (Gyoku) without the lower jaw. The fourth ring with a human skull motif. It was created to be more realistic and more authentic. First, we prepared a 1/1 scale human skeleton model, a skull model, and several photographs of cultural assets. Thanks to the model, we were able to see the back side, detailed structure, and shape that we had not been able to see before, and based on that, we carved a model that was closer to the real thing. It has been designed with particular attention to detail, with detailed details such as the upper and lower orbital rows, optic foramen, lacrimal bone, inferior nasal turbinate, temporal wrinkles, back of the head, and each tooth. I reproduced it. It took about a year to complete, but this work is the result of putting all of my skills into it.
