At 絡遙試驗所 (flowchronicle.lab), we primarily use natural botanical print dyeing to imprint the fallen leaves and dried grasses of communities and nature. Through botanical transfer printing, we can record the sequence of floral and leaf veins. During the botanical dyeing process, one can feel the connection between humans and nature, the flow of flowers and plants, and the land. Through the creative process, we heal the body, mind, and spirit, relieve stress, and create works imprinted with the stories of local plant patterns.
We encourage everyone to refocus their visual attention on their own communities, rediscovering the names of the trees that bloom green leaves and flowers for us. Following the plant veins, we give new life to dried grasses and fallen leaves, celebrating the stories of every plant and tree in the community. Through natural botanical dyeing, we encourage support for sustainable fashion trends and sustainable textile manufacturing.
