Smooth, rounded sea pottery, shaped over years by the waves and washed ashore.
One of the charms of ceramics is how, depending on the placement of a crack, you can either clearly discern the depicted pattern or allow your imagination to wander, wondering about the original image, the place it was used...
The left piece features a pale yellow-green sea pottery with green patterns, while the right showcases a gradient blue sea pottery, both adorned with clear, beautiful quartz, meticulously mended with kintsugi.

※ Kintsugi (金継ぎ) is a traditional Japanese repair technique that uses lacquer and gold powder to mend broken or chipped ceramics. This piece is crafted using a simplified kintsugi method. Unlike traditional urushi made from the sap of lacquer trees, this uses new urushi, which is less likely to cause allergic reactions, and gold powder (brass powder). UV resin is also used for reinforcement.
