Charles Frederick Worth was a British fashion designer who founded House of Worth - one of the most important fashion houses of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
In 1858, Charles Frederick Worth opened a store in Paris. His design and customization model were loved by Parisian upper class represented by Queen Eugenie, the wife of Napoleon III, and he also officially brought "haute couture" to the market.
