[Precautions for Use]
※ Vases / Decorative Plates / Ornaments
These items use decorative painting tools to maintain their aesthetic appeal and vibrant colors. Therefore, please do not use them as tableware.
Place decorative plates and ornaments in a safe, stable location.
When storing (especially items containing gold or silver), gently wipe the surface with a soft cloth to remove dirt before carefully storing.
※ Tableware
Do not microwave or use in ovens items containing gold or silver, as this can cause surface discoloration and may pose a fire hazard.
For thinner teacups and yunomi (tea cups), be cautious of heat as they conduct it easily.
For mixed-material tableware (e.g., ceramic and metal, ceramic and glass), which are assembled with adhesives, do not heat directly on a stove, induction cooktop, or in an oven. Do not place them in a dish dryer.
Because earthenware has high water absorbency, soak it in hot water before use to allow the clay to fill with moisture. This will prevent the pottery from staining or absorbing odors from tea leaves.
Wash as soon as possible after use. Do not use detergents, scrub brushes, or stiff-bristled brushes, and do not wash in a dishwasher, as this can damage the surface. Use kitchen-specific detergents and wash with a soft sponge, then dry thoroughly with a kitchen towel before storing.
※ Scratch Warning
The bottom of Kutani ware porcelain is unglazed. Therefore, if placed on lacquered floors, flower stands, shelves, or tables, it may scratch the surface. Always use a coaster or a cloth pad.
These pieces are not only works of art to be appreciated for the artisan's dedication, but using them in daily life also brings joy and enriches the spirit!
