The vessels are no longer just for "holding" flowers, but become their carriers, their substitutes, or even another way of viewing and conversing with them. Through depiction, carving, and layered glazes, wildflowers, mountain flowers, and fallen blossoms from beneath trees are reinterpreted in the language of pottery and applied to the objects, capturing their transient yet powerful forms.
