It's likely not widely known that many brands have licensed exclusive products specifically for the Japanese market, isn't it?
If you've traveled to Japan, you'll know that department stores offer a vast array of specialty souvenirs, not food items!
Some brands have special licenses to produce commemorative items that are unique to Japan. These might not even be available through the brand's primary sales channels.
For example, in earlier times, Celine licensed a Japanese textile company to produce various textile goods, including home and lifestyle items, which are incredibly practical.
Furthermore, the prices were extremely reasonable, making them perfect for both gifting and personal use, and vastly different from the price positioning of the brand's boutiques.
However, Celine's license with the Japanese company has long since expired, so even if you visit Japan now, you won't be able to purchase them.
Therefore, these are completely out-of-print, limited-edition Japanese specialties from many years ago, and like vintage bags, each one is a rare find!
⚐⚑˒˒ This is a gift set featuring a storage pouch, blotting paper, and a small towel, all brand new and unused! It comes with its original sealed gift box, offering excellent value!
The storage pouch is designed to hold blotting paper and includes a mirror. However, it can also be used as a cardholder,
fitting one or two cards, such as transit passes or access cards. The pouch is black, adorned with an embossed Arc de Triomphe motif all over!
The textured feel is wonderful, and the item itself is exquisitely detailed! The outer packaging of the blotting paper also features the Arc de Triomphe, though the inner tissues are likely plain.
A small towel is included, featuring a dual-color Arc de Triomphe design on the towel itself. It makes for a superb, elegant, and understated gift.
It's perfect for occasions like Christmas or year-end gift exchanges, where a special yet not overly extravagant present is desired! Brand new with its seal, and there's only one set available!
❍ The photos are taken by the owner under natural sunlight, and the lighting can vary depending on the time of day, so slight color variations are possible.
Due to the unique nature of pre-owned orders, returns and exchanges are not accepted. Please examine the photos carefully before placing your order.

A primary reason I love vintage bags is that the materials from bygone eras are far superior to those used in modern new items.
In the past, most of the production processes for pre-owned items were handmade, imbued with the warmth of craftsmanship before mass mechanization.
The skill of artisans was far more delicate than that of machines, much like how everyone appreciates products crafted by skilled artisans!
However, today, the vast majority of processes are mechanized with minimal human assembly, losing the subtlety of the past.
I believe the simplest and most direct way to see this is by comparing the detailed patterns of recent brand reissues with the authentic patterns of older pieces.
The level of detail in the monogram alone is entirely different. If you love monograms, you must seek out vintage pieces! Truly!
In terms of style, older pieces tend to be more simple, timeless, and enduring. Many new designs today are actually revivals of older styles.
Yet, new items are priced higher than their vintage counterparts. New designs are typically based on older models, with added details or modifications.
The final product often ends up more complex (or perhaps peculiar...) than the older versions. As one matures, the understanding grows that simplicity endures! As one gets older, clothing choices often return to basic styles because the more fundamental, the more versatile.
The quality of raw materials in older pieces is also superior to newer ones. Anyone knowledgeable about leather can see that the materials used in new items are generally of a lower grade than those in vintage pieces.
This is mainly because the cost of high-quality raw materials is now prohibitively high, and their availability is scarcer than before; Earth's resources are dwindling!
Furthermore, brands back then did not have the ubiquitous presence of numerous branches as they do now... Their clientele typically had a certain level of income and specific expectations for the finished products. There wasn't the "fast fashion" culture of today; a bag was expected to be used for many years.
The difference between new and old eras is clearly visible in the hardware. Many new hardware pieces oxidize and discolor after just a year or two of use, but vintage pieces typically do not. Besides the use of higher-grade materials and meticulous techniques, hardware from earlier eras was often plated with genuine K gold!
It's worth noting that Chanel Vintage is expensive for a reason; many of its clasps and chains contain real gold, certified by gold merchants!
Therefore, even vintage bags from as early as the 60s and 70s, if well-preserved, can still have gleaming hardware today.
Among the new items available now, based on my knowledge of brands, none of the hardware contains K gold, making them prone to oxidation.
Many say that buying vintage bags is a form of alternative investment, as they rarely depreciate and often appreciate in value. This is because well-preserved vintage bags are becoming increasingly rare in the market; each one that disappears is gone forever. Remember, they are all discontinued items. The number that exists in the world is finite, so they will only become fewer, more expensive, and harder to find.
Moreover, many brands periodically increase their prices, and each increase drives up the prices in the pre-owned market.
If a brand releases a "reissue," the vintage reference or similar styles will see a sharp price increase!
Additionally, with the recent trend of Japanese and Korean celebrities favoring vintage items, once a particular style is seen on a celebrity, its price can skyrocket, truly soar. This is because, for a period, many people will frantically search for that style or a similar alternative, causing the prices of those specific items to multiply...
Therefore, vintage is truly a case of "buy early, enjoy now; buy late, pay more" (this isn't an advertising slogan... it's a truth in the vintage world...).
This is based on my personal experience; I regret not acquiring certain collections earlier, and now they are either impossible to find or available at exorbitant prices...
However, even knowing the price is astronomical, one might feel compelled to purchase, as waiting will only lead to higher prices (unless the condition is poor).
I am often asked about bag maintenance (ᐢ.ˬ.ᐢ). I will include detailed care instructions on a small note inside the bag, so no need to worry.
My personal habit is to give them a polish when I organize my closet during seasonal changes (so each seasonal change is quite an undertaking...|||).
Actually, vintage bags aren't that troublesome. When you're new to it, it's simply about getting used to regular maintenance and cherishing the bag. Once it becomes a habit, it's not difficult.
The materials of vintage bags are inherently excellent. As long as they are not used roughly and are preserved properly, they can easily last another decade and be passed down to your daughter!
Every vintage bag I collect is one I genuinely love, so I hope you will love it too and be able to preserve it for years to come ☪︎ *.。
