The Zorki-4K was introduced in 1972 on the base of Zorki-4 camera at Krasnogorsky Optical and Mechanical Plant (KMZ). It was added the lever for shutter cocking and built-in take-up spool. Letter "K" means Kurock=Lever. It have a bright, large, combined RF/VF, a removable back, a dioptric adjustment of the view-finder, a self-timer, a flash synch mechanism and a high quality coated fast lenses - Jupiter-8 or Industar-50. The 39 mm Leica thread mount (LTM) was preserved, also Zorki-4K, as any Zorki rangefinder camera, is fully compatible with the LTM lenses. * Frame size: 24x36mm * Film type: usual 135 type film cassettes are applicable. * Shutter speeds: B, 1-1/1000, synchronization with electronic flash at 1/30 and more slow speeds (tested!). There is presented a special dial for two types of flash units, pulse (X) and expendable (M). The shutter work looks fine. Please note: for normal shutter operation, manufacturer (KMZ) recommends changing shutter speeds after the film is wound and the shutter cocked. * Built-in self-timer works fine. * Scale of shutter speed is with painted digits, red digits are wiped off during shootings, all black are complete and still well-readable. * Take-up spool is built-in, thus You'll never loose it during film loading. * Tripod mount 1/4". * The camera was manufactured in 1975 at famous KMZ plant in the USSR.
