The secret to the rice cooker's ability to cook extremely delicious rice lies in the far-infrared effect and the shape of the pot. The glaze has a high far-infrared effect, and the heat is transferred to the core of the rice, cooking delicious and plump rice.
With its excellent heat preservation ability, it can store heat and transfer it evenly and stably, so you can easily cook rice without paying attention to the heat.
There is a pressure regulating cover design on the knob of the lid, which can intercept steam and apply moderate pressure to prevent steam overflow and splashing. When it is almost cooked, the lid will make a "cracking" sound due to the shaking of the steam, reminding you that you can turn off the heat. You can turn off the heat after cooking for another 1-2 minutes depending on the situation. Let it sit for another 15 minutes and the delicious rice will be ready to be served piping hot! It is easier to clean than an electric rice cooker. It can also be used to cook porridge, stew meat, soup and other stews. It can be said to be a universal rice cooker.

About Arita ware
Arita ware comes from Saga Prefecture, the birthplace of Japan's first ceramic production. It was even popular in Europe in the 1650s, opening up the international vision of Japanese ceramics. Its greatest feature is its white and light texture, delicate like glass yet hard. The unprecedented ceramic performance is amazing, coupled with the gorgeous Japanese decorative design, it was deeply loved by European aristocrats at the time.
For 400 years, the tradition and innovation of Arita ware have created Japan's unique aesthetic consciousness. Since 2016, a new attempt, SAGAMA, has begun to showcase the beauty of the combination of more modern and traditional techniques.
Brand Story|About DAIKEI Daikei Co., Ltd. (Kiln name Hachiemon Kiln)
It has been 142 years since its establishment, and it is considered a long-established kiln in the Arita area. The fourth-generation successor, Mori Koichiro, transported the Amakusa pottery Stone from the current Amakusa City in Kumamoto Prefecture to Hayaki Port for unloading, and then transported it by horse-drawn carriage to the current Enaga in Mikochi-cho, Sasebo City. He then used a waterwheel to crush the stone into clay at the Stone processing plant, and then started a kiln to fire it, starting a series of kiln operations. Since 2000, we have been researching and developing a single-person pot that can be heated by direct fire and is suitable for modern lifestyles. This product has become a milestone with its great popularity.

Frequently Asked Questions|
Q1. The pot seems to have uneven color or pores. Is it a defective product?
A1: Arita ware is all handmade by Japanese craftsmen. It is normal if there are uneven glaze colors, pores, color differences, and slight differences in size. Please understand the characteristics of handmade products.
Q2. Is it normal if rice cracks appear at the bottom of the pot?
A2: This is a normal phenomenon.
Q3. What should I do if the bottom of the pot is stained or burnt?
A3: As the bottom is unglazed, it is normal to have natural color changes, stains or burn marks due to use.
Q4. Why is there an uneven discoloration like oil stains on the inside of the pot after washing in a dishwasher?
A4: This is caused by the detergent not being rinsed off thoroughly. Because the pot body is deep, the dishwasher's rinsing method will make it impossible to rinse the detergent out of the deeper pot, resulting in detergent residue and detergent traces left behind. These can be removed by re-rinsing with clean water + neutral detergent.
