This dress is independently designed and meticulously crafted by me. It involves several key stages: Sketching - Pattern Making - Fabric Cutting - Sewing - Hand Finishing - Mannequin Fitting - Model Photoshoot At each step, I encounter unique challenges. For instance, achieving a sense of lightness in the design can be tricky; a fabric that's too thin might be prone to tearing. Or, a pattern might look beautiful in shape but not be comfortable for the body to wear. However, this can result in some subtle draping around the bust. This is an intentional design element, not a flaw, and it accentuates the bust. / The fabric has stretch, allowing the neckline to conform to the body. The petal effect is achieved through bias and sculptural cutting, which is intricate and fabric-intensive despite its seemingly simple appearance.
