This necklace is based on the confectionery baumkuchen.
The top of the baumkuchen, which has already been cut into , is designed to look like a horseshoe.
A fork is subtly accented on the side to suggest the scene where the baumkuchen is about to be eaten.
At the end of the adjuster at the back, a slice of the cut baumkuchen swings casually.
Baumkuchen, which originated in Germany, means 'tree cake' and is said to bring happiness as it is called a confection made by fairies.
The annual rings on the cross section, which look like a tree, mean "accumulate happiness" and are a popular sweet as a gift in Japan.
This necklace is inspired by the traditional method of making baumkuchen with uneven surfaces.
The moderate volume makes it easy to match with casual wear and is recommended as a gift.
