While depicted with bold brushstrokes, they leave a quiet, lingering impression. This is a sugar pot from ARABIA's popular "Anemone" series. Manufactured between 1962 and 1976, with a brief reissue in the 1980s. Both the form and decoration were created by Ulla Procopé, a designer who supported ARABIA's golden age. The form used is known as the S model. Its clean shape beautifully accentuates the hand-painted design, and its durable construction with moderate thickness allows for casual use in daily life. Each Anemone flower is hand-painted by a skilled artisan. The flow of the brush, the variations in color intensity, and the subtle bleeding all create unique expressions, making the warmth of this handcrafted series its particular charm. Beyond holding sugar, it can also be used for small sweets, tea bags, or trinkets. Its presence with a lid adds a rich, Nordic vintage character to any dining table or shelf. This piece naturally blends into daily life, deepening your affection with every use and glance. ▶︎Designer Ulla Procope ▶︎Manufacturer ARABIA ▶︎Country of Manufacture Finland ▶︎Manufacturing Period 1962-1976 ▶︎Size Body: Diameter 10cm / Height 5.5cm Lid: Diameter 10.5cm / Height 4.5cm Capacity (full): Approx. 250ml ▶︎Condition Rank: B No major damage such as cracks or chips, with good gloss, indicating good vintage condition.
