Sumo Wrestlers and Auspicious Motifs: The bowl is adorned with lively and charming hand-painted sumo wrestlers in classic poses like the salt-scattering ritual and the *shiko* (stomping to ward off evil). In Japan, sumo wrestlers symbolize strength, protection against evil, and the welcoming of good fortune. Complemented by a bright yellow background and a turquoise geometric pattern at the bottom featuring the auspicious character "吉" (good fortune) in red, this bowl infuses your dining table with vibrant positive energy. ✨ Designed by Kutani: Delicate Craftsmanship for Daily Dining In Japan, it's a cherished tradition for each family member to have their own special rice bowl. Exceptional Feel and Grip: The exterior of the bowl features fine horizontal ribs, which are not only aesthetically pleasing but also provide a non-slip grip for comfortable handling. Elevated Foot and Pure White Interior: The foot of the bowl (the ring base) is designed to be higher than usual, decorated with striking colors. The interior, conversely, is a smooth, pure white porcelain, creating a beautiful contrast with the vibrant exterior. This clean white interior perfectly showcases the glistening texture of freshly cooked rice. 🎨 Artisan Craftsmanship and Care Instructions Artisan Skill: The patterns on the bowl are meticulously decorated by Kutani ware's *e-tsuke* (painting) masters.
