A little story behind the postcard:
"Everyone's mission is complete! Thank you, everyone, for being amazing~"
"Congratulations on embracing a wonderful life!! XD"
This was the reply from the supervising professor.
Even though the submission failed, there were still happy blessings.
Finally, I completely shed my identity as a graduate student.
At that time, I traveled all the way from the central part of Taiwan to the east to study.
What I looked forward to most was having affordable accommodation to have tons of fun,
and I most longed to visit Chishang to see the golden rice fields and the starry sky.
However, I was "ruined" by my own unbearable aversion to gray areas and my pursuit of solid, down-to-earth principles.
I found a strict, perfectionist, and incredibly skilled professor to guide my thesis.
As a result, I quietly deviated from my original intention of "having tons of fun" in Taitung and bid farewell to Chishang.
But unexpectedly, I went through the process of submitting two years of thesis competitions, online defenses, and online award ceremonies.
Competition has never been my pursuit or habit.
Facing competitions always filled me with trepidation, unwilling to see my own shortcomings.
Fortunately, there was a "great demon king" who pushed me to challenge different possibilities (?!),
along with senior students who had already succeeded in battling and companions who battled alongside me.
They provided immense support for my anxiety and fear.
By taking a leap of faith,
I was able to glide towards where I was meant to be.
