I made a drawstring pouch using illustrator Sakamoto Torie's corgi illustration fabric. I have had corgis myself and am a big fan of corgis. All of the corgis drawn by Mr. Sakamoto will make you say, "Oh, yes, corgis have such expressions, and such gestures are cute, aren't they?" I fell in love at first sight with a gentle illustration that makes me feel like I'm with a corgi, so I decided to make it into a work. The title of this fabric is "Corgi, Wild Birds and Afternoon Tea". It is an unexpected but very cute combination of tea and sweets for a corgi with a straight face. I used navy blue gingham check fabric for the lining. It's cute but calm, and it's finished with an exquisite balance. This drawstring pouch has a gusset, so you can store a lot. From small items such as make-up and candy to larger items such as antiperspirant and sunscreen*.
