The knitting manual is suitable for those who already have knitting experience and can complete the work according to the manual by themselves.
The scarf is parallelogram-shaped, featuring elongated stitches which create a zig zag pattern against a background of squishy garter stitch, all neatly framed on both sides by an i-cord edge. The elongated stitches are first slipped, then carried to the left/right as simple 3x1 cables to create the zig zag pattern.
The scarf is worked starting at one tip. Increases are made to reach the full width of the scarf, then knitting continues evenly until decreases are worked to complete the shape.
