Design Background:
During the social upheaval of the 1940s and 1950s, life in Hong Kong was challenging and resources were scarce. "Chicken Brand" used three charming chicks to express a yearning for a better life. These three chicks embody the hopes for the society and people of that era: the chick pecking at grain symbolizes abundance and nourishment; the chick sitting leisurely represents a life of ease; and the chick standing tall with its chest out signifies a spirit of exploring the future and looking ahead.
