Up for sale is a gorgeous piece of American glass history: a Fenton "Acorn" pattern bowl in the iconic Marigold iridescent finish. This classic piece features a beautifully ruffled (scalloped) edge and a deeply embossed design of oak leaves and acorns in the center.
The iridescence is vibrant, showing wonderful flashes of gold, copper, and pinkish-purple tones when it catches the light.
This bowl remains a lovely display piece, but please note the following condition details:
• Small Chip: There is a small chip (nick) on the base ring of the bowl. Please see the close-up photos for a detailed view. It does not affect the stability of the bowl.
• Manufacturing Marks: Typical of early 20th-century glass, there are visible straw marks (shear marks) on the bottom from the cooling process. These are not cracks, but part of the original production.
• Overall: Despite the minor nick at the base, the iridescence is bright and the pattern remains crisp and clear.
Please review all photos carefully, especially the close-ups of the base, as they are part of the description.
