A vintage Chinese table lamp. Circa 1970s, made of metal, enamel, textiles, decorative painting. The base of the lamp is made in the form of a vase with a high, narrow neck. The base and neck of the vase are decorated with peonies made in turquoise, lilac, pink and yellow tones. The vase is set on a wooden base. The lampshade made of textile. An exquisite lamp will complement the interior of the living room, dining room, bedroom or library. Cloisonné enamelware has been produced in China for centuries. Metal walls (cloisonnes in French) are soldered to the underlying metal ware defining the overall design. Colorful enamel is put in the areas thus defined and the piece is fired.
