This is a normal oxidation process. ・ If your brass jewelry oxidizes and darkens, here are a few methods to restore its shine: - Use a silver polishing cloth to restore luster. The cloth will darken, which is normal; do not wash it, as this will reduce its effectiveness. - Gently scrub with a toothbrush dipped in a small amount of dish soap or toothpaste, then dry. - Wipe with a clean cloth and a small amount of brass polish to restore shine.
