**|Introduction|**
This introductory workshop is perfect for those new to ceramics. Transform everyday items like cups, bowls, plates, small vases, and planters into your ideal creations with your own hands. You will learn fundamental hand-building techniques and methods for coloring, with the freedom to choose your desired forms.
**|Workshop Details| Minimum 1 person to form a group, maximum 7 participants**
Please ponder your desired shapes and forms before the class. Feel free to discuss them with us after signing up; this will make the class flow even smoother on the day 🌼.
Learn basic hand-building techniques and receive guidance to complete your piece. You can color and decorate your work or create multiple pieces within the allotted time. Choose a single glaze color from our selection on the day of the class. KO CERAMICS will handle the glazing (or leave it unglazed) for all pieces after the class.
|Students who wish to experience glazing can purchase it on the day|
• Glazing Add-on Session | Additional 40 minutes per session: For a comprehensive understanding of the ceramic process, after completing your piece in the first session and waiting 2-3 weeks for bisque firing, a separate appointment will be scheduled to guide you through glazing techniques and methods, allowing you to glaze your piece yourself 🫶🏼.

• Private group sessions are welcome for friends, gatherings, and company events. The space can accommodate up to 10-12 people (excluding pottery wheel sessions). Please message us privately for details and group discounts.
• For private bookings or any inquiries, please contact us via our official LINE account or Instagram messages.
• A fixed amount of clay (500-800g per person) is provided. Additional clay can be purchased if you wish to create more pieces during the class (additional charge of $50 NTD for 500g).
• The course fee does not include kiln firing costs. Kiln firing fees are calculated based on the volume of the piece: length x width x height x 0.15, with a minimum charge of $80 NTD per piece.
• Completed pieces undergo a complex firing process including natural air drying, bisque firing, glazing, and glaze firing. Please allow 4-6 weeks for this process.
• Please decide on your preferred pickup method during the class: |In-studio Pickup| or |7-ELEVEN Store-to-Store Delivery|.
Once your piece is fired, we will polish it and notify you for collection.
(Please pick up your work within 1 month. If uncollected after the deadline, the studio reserves the right to reclaim or dispose of the piece due to limited space. We appreciate your understanding.)
|In-studio Pickup|: To be environmentally friendly, please bring your own bag when picking up your work. Pieces will be wrapped with simple cushioning materials.
|7-ELEVEN Store-to-Store Delivery|: For those opting for delivery, a shipping and packaging fee of $120 NTD will be charged. An additional $30 NTD per piece will be charged for packaging if you have more than 2 items.
(Pieces will be inspected, polished, and securely packaged before shipping. In line with our eco-friendly approach, recycled packaging materials will be used.)
Please assess the risks of shipping yourself. The studio is not responsible for any damage incurred during transit. We appreciate your understanding.

Driving: Street parking is available along Ren'ai Road and Jinshan South Road.
Nearby paid parking: "Xin Chang Yue Hangzhou South Road Section 1 Parking Lot," about a 3-minute walk to the studio.

• Before making a purchase, please send a private message via Pinkoi to inquire about available slots for your desired date and time. Classes are arranged on a first-come, first-served basis. If your chosen slot is full and not yet updated, the studio may adjust your class date based on availability. We appreciate your understanding.
• The course fee does not include kiln firing costs. Kiln firing fees are calculated based on the volume of the piece: length x width x height x 0.15, with a minimum charge of $80 NTD per piece.
**|Gentle Reminders|**
• It is recommended to trim your nails before class for easier manipulation. If you have nail art, as long as it's not too long, it should be fine.
• No prior pottery experience is required. This workshop is currently open to participants aged 12 and above.
• Please be mindful of the creative time. A late fee of $150 NTD per person will be charged for classes exceeding 30 minutes past the scheduled start time.
• The studio operates by appointment only. To maintain class quality, accompanying persons or assistance are not permitted. Please do not be late.
• You will be working with clay, slip, and paints. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing (work aprons are provided).
• Studio space is limited. Please collect your work within 1 month of receiving the pickup notification. Uncollected pieces will be disposed of by the studio.
• You assume the risk of cracks and damage occurring during the firing process due to the piece being too thin or fragile. The studio will not be held liable for compensation.
• The ceramic making and high-temperature firing processes are subject to various variables. Refunds will not be issued for damages not caused by human error. We appreciate your understanding. (Glaze and paint colors may vary slightly due to firing temperature and kiln atmosphere; cracks, glaze crawling, pinholes, and natural disasters are considered non-human induced damages.)
**|Class Changes and Refunds|**
**Lateness:** Please arrive 10 minutes early. A 10-minute grace period is allowed, meaning classes can be extended if you arrive within 10 minutes of the start time.
!!! If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, you will not be admitted, and no refund will be issued. If you wish to reschedule, a rescheduling fee of [$500 NTD per person] will apply!!!
**Refunds:** No refunds will be issued on the day of the experience class due to "lateness."
• Applications submitted 7 days before the class (excluding the event day): Full refund.
**Changes:** No changes will be made on the day of the experience class due to "lateness."
• If you are unable to attend due to personal reasons on the day, please notify us via private message at least 3 days before the class (excluding the event day) to reschedule, or transfer your spot to someone else. No refunds will be provided in this case.
• You have the right to change your class slot once up to 3 days before your scheduled class (excluding the event day) (the rescheduled class must be completed within 1 month). If not utilized, it cannot be extended or refunded.
• If you need to change your date within 3 days of booking, a rescheduling fee of [$500 NTD per person] will apply. This is limited to one change and "same-day changes are not accepted."
**|Typhoon/Natural Disaster Closures|**
• In the event of typhoons or other force majeure circumstances, we will proactively contact you to arrange a reschedule or refund.
**|Class Documentation|**
• During the experience class, the instructor will assist with taking photos and videos, which may be shared publicly on our platforms later. If you [wish to avoid photos being published, please inform us in advance], and we will avoid filming you.
