Worth collecting Konica II Bm (1957) Hexar 45mm f3.5 rangefinder camera macular focus Japanese-made metal-linked range-finding overlay focus manual focus mechanical camera film camera
Konica is the oldest imaging company in Japan. It was founded in 1873 by the Konishi Rokubei Store. In 1882, it developed its first camera, the classic I II III series [Konica I (f3.5/f2.8), II (II, IIA, IIB, IIB-m), III (III, IIIA, IIIM)], the most innovative rangefinder cameras of the year.
Regardless of the materials used, production technology, mechanical properties and optical properties, they all reach a very high level.
Except for the IIIM which has built-in light metering, the others have no light metering and range-finding macular focusing. Each model is a classic and worth collecting! IIA, IIB-m, IIIM are rarer.
