Vintage English fine bone china teacup and saucer from the Flower Festival series made by Paragon.
The Paragon China Company was operational under this name between 1920 and 1991. They received royal patronage starting with the Duchess of York in 1926 and continuing through Queen Mary, the Queen Mother and Queen Elizabeth.
The backstamp on these pieces was in use between 1963 and 1972. The cup is in undamaged, very good condition with only slight signs of usage. The saucer has some areas of craquelure near the rim top and bottom due to aging. There is some subsequent discoloration underneath the rim. There are some small surface marks due to usage as well.
