The design on this Traditional style Fountain pen is a unique Millefiori design made from durable polymer clay, not painted on, a true treasure for anyone who uses fountain pens. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51801094078_eb96bf0b30_b.jpg Similar to the Venetian Millefiori technique with glass I take raw polymer clay and create my own designs into what is then called a “cane”. Slices are then cut from the cane and worked and designed onto the piece. It’s then baked and finally sealed with several coats of a baked on sealer. The design is not painted at all, it is meticulously created and designed onto this pen using only polymer clay, and no two are ever identical, insuring that you are always getting an original signed piece.
