Vintage Large bowl

A large ceramic serving bowl, with Chinese ruyi symbol shaped on the rim. Ruyi (Ruyi: Chinese 如意; literally means "All comes as you have wishedin a lucky way") is a curved decorative object that serves as a ceremonial scepter in Chinese Buddhism or a talisman symbolizing power and good fortune in Chinese culture. On the bottom of the big bowl, the dark color spiral interprets "completion and fullness in life". This beautiful piece itself is as good as a centerpiece in your living room or on your dining table. Apart from being a decoration object, it serves beautifully as potpourri bowl, salad bowl or fruit bowl. Dimention: 27 x 27 x 7 cm Hand-thrown made piece, the big bowl is fired to a high temperature (1230 degree C/2246 degree F) which enhances its strength and is food-safe and non-toxic. Hand wash is suggested. I do my best to reflect my ceramics in the pictures as real as possible, but due to lighting some color variations should be taken into account.
