This process creates a unique "lightness" and "softness," and a relaxed, natural texture that allows you to enjoy its "patina" rather than "deterioration." Because we use shuttle looms that are over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving imperfections" may appear, which can look like small "frays." While these are unavoidable with the use of vintage machinery, we make every effort to minimize them through thorough inspections at the factory and careful cutting of the fabric, using them in less conspicuous areas when found. However, due to the nature of the machinery, it is impossible to eliminate them entirely.
