Vintage Dutch Bols jenever bottle.
Jenever is known as Dutch gin. It is malted grain-based spirit that can only be made in Holland or Belgium and contains juniper ("genever" in old Dutch). Bols established its first distillery at 'T Lootsje, Amsterdam in 1575 and it is now the most famous producer of jenever in the world.
At the bottom of the label is written "Elken dag een glaasje" (a little glass every day). As this is written in old Dutch spelling, this bottle was produced the first half of the last century.
