Hat cleaning tips 1: Never throw it away in the washing machine!
The brim of the hat contains an inner lining to keep the shape of the brim stiff. If you throw it directly into the washing machine, it may cause the entire hat to deform or even fade. It is recommended to wash by hand to avoid the dilemma of deforming the hat.
Hat cleaning tips 2: Use alcohol and paper towels to wipe gently
If you encounter some sweat stains or deformation, you can use a wet tissue or paper towel sprayed with disinfectant alcohol to wipe it briefly. When not wearing it, store it in a ventilated place where it will not be squeezed. If you find that there is dust on it, you can use tape to gently stick it up (don't be too careful). If the dirt still cannot be removed, use a toothbrush + diluted detergent to gently brush the dirty area and use Wipe it with a damp cloth and let it air dry~!
Hat cleaning tips 3: Soak in cold water + detergent
Too high water temperature will cause the paint to smear or the fabric to shrink. Pour cold detergent, washing powder or hat-specific detergent into a basin filled with cold water. After diluting, put the entire hat in to remove invisible stains. If the water is dirty, soak it for about 5 to 10 minutes, and then press the hat gently. When you find that the water becomes dirty and turbid, it means that the dirt on the hat has been discharged by the detergent. After roughly soaking, the hat will definitely be much cleaner than before, but the stubborn dirt cannot disappear and you still need to use a brush to clean it. If you don’t have a special hat brush at home, you can actually just use an unnecessary toothbrush. Dip a toothbrush into the dirt and brush it back and forth, especially where the inside of the hat is in contact with the scalp. Sweating will form sweat stains, which will accumulate dirt over time. After a little scrubbing, rinse it away with cold water.
