Fine white clay that enhances the clarity of the glaze. A lustrous glaze with fine white crystals dancing across a blue-purple shade that evokes hydrangeas. This four-leaf clover-shaped small bowl is created by combining these elements. Its soft, flower-like shape with gentle curves adds a touch of color to your dining table. The bowl has a good depth, making it suitable for dishes with a bit of liquid. Ideal for dressed vegetables, simmered dishes, Japanese side dishes, or tofu preparations. All stages, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, are meticulously handcrafted in my home studio, equipped with a small electric kiln and a potter's wheel. While mass production is not possible, each piece possesses its own unique character, offering a distinct charm that comes from being handmade. The item you receive will be the same as pictured, with two pieces currently in stock. As there are subtle variations in glaze color and form for each piece, detailed descriptions are provided in the final product images. If stock permits, you may select your preferred piece. The base of the bowl will be sanded smooth before delivery. I explore various glazes and clays, constantly seeking the best combinations to create pottery in a diverse range of colors and shapes. To address this, we apply a water-blocking treatment using a food-safe sealant before shipping, so there is no need for initial soaking (medome). This treatment requires 2-3 days, hence our shipping timeframe of 5 days from order placement. If you prefer not to have the water-blocking treatment applied, please inform us at the time of purchase. - Cutlery shown in the product images is not included. - We strive to capture and edit product images to be as true to the actual item as possible. However, colors may appear differently depending on your monitor settings and lighting conditions.
