This piece expresses the unique atmosphere of those fleeting moments just before the sun slips below the horizon. <Design> Inspired by the classic fisherman’s smock. The highlight is the collar, which gently folds back like the wings of a seagull gliding through the summer sky. On the back, we’ve included traditional Japanese "Wamon" embroidery, stitched with the prayer that this garment brings good connections (Go-en) to its wearer. <Dyeing Process> We use "Bengala" mud dye, which is eco-friendly and resistant to aging. Derived from earth-based iron oxide (Bengala), this dye is entirely natural and returns to the earth. <Material> Crafted from high-quality French linen of a comfortable thickness. While linen is a type of hemp fabric, French linen is considered the finest grade, offering a perfect balance of softness and a crisp, refreshing texture. As a natural "cool-touch" material, linen has high thermal conductivity, allowing heat to escape. It feels light and breezy against the skin without sticking, making it ideal for staying cool. The fabric also gains character and becomes even softer with every use. Each piece is hand-dyed individually.
