**◈ From the Designer**
Azurite often coexists with minerals such as malachite, turquoise, and cuprite. It is quite rare to obtain large areas of pure green or pure blue gemstones. Those that coexist with azurite, presenting light blue and light green tones, are also exceptionally scarce.
This azurite, coexisting with large areas of turquoise and a blue-green hue, is truly one in ten thousand. Its unique crystalline texture is exceptionally artistic, resembling an aerial view of a tropical island, with visible green landmasses surrounded by the sea, exuding a sense of tranquil beauty.
Upon the azurite, filled with turquoise and blue-green tones, one can observe jade-like patterns. Additionally, subtle natural accents of red and yellow hematite are scattered throughout. Therefore, tourmaline, an antique gemstone in orange and pink hues, has been thoughtfully chosen as the main pendant, strategically placed along the chain. This enhances the overall gemstone piece with a light and fashionable color palette, offering intricate details that invite contemplation.
**Azurite coexists with various natural minerals, resulting in inherent imperfections. Its beauty also stems from the interplay of colors from these diverse minerals. Any imperfections in this piece have been appropriately polished and do not affect its aesthetic appeal or wearability. Please assess carefully before purchasing.**
**This is a one-of-a-kind piece, awaiting its discerning, wise, and compassionate owner.**
**Azurite**
Azurite, also known as 'stone blue,' is a copper-bearing mineral, deep blue or light blue in color, with a vitreous luster. However, due to its relatively low hardness of 3.5-4, it has rarely been used as a gemstone since ancient times. Instead, it was often ground into powder for pigments, used as decorative material for building interiors, or for inlaying furniture.
In nature, blue gemstones are inherently rare. Therefore, the blue of azurite is not only rare and beautiful but is also named with the word for blue in various languages (Greek: *kuanos*, Latin: *caeruleum*, English: *azurite*).
Azurite is found in the oxidized zones of copper sulfide ore deposits and often coexists with other copper-bearing minerals (such as azurite, chalcocite, cuprite, native copper, etc.).
Azurite is not suitable for purification by sunlight, as its color can easily fade upon exposure to the sun. Due to its metallic content, it is also not suitable for purification with sea salt.
**Turquoise**
Turquoise, with colors ranging from blue, green, to light green and yellow, is one of the ancient gemstones. As far back as ancient Egypt, ancient Mexico, and ancient Persia, it was regarded as a mystical and protective object. Ancient rulers used turquoise to signify their divine power, political authority, and wealth.
Externally, the black veins on the surface of turquoise are called 'iron lines,' formed by the oxidation of iron elements within the turquoise. Thus, each iron line is a unique gift from nature.
Furthermore, turquoise is graded by its degree of 'vitrification.' The higher the degree of vitrification, the fewer the iron lines, the tighter the structure, and the rarer the production.
**Chrysocolla (Phoenix Stone)**
Chrysocolla (also known as Phoenix Stone) is not a typical malachite but a gemstone primarily composed of malachite coexisting with various other minerals.
The English name Chrysocolla comes from the Greek words for gold (*chrysos*) and glue (*kolla*), due to the striking resemblance of its crystalline form to a gold-joining substance.
Chrysocolla is found in the oxidized zones of copper deposits and often coexists with malachite, azurite, cuprite, native copper, jade, quartz, and turquoise. Its crystalline structure typically forms as aggregates without cleavage, resulting in a relatively low hardness.
Due to the coexistence of multiple minerals, the crystals of chrysocolla display beautiful colors of green, blue, red, and black. Specimens with uniform color and large size, or those with uniquely distributed different colors and fine jade-like texture, are highly prized by collectors.
Chrysocolla corresponds to the throat and heart chakras. Its colors resemble the earth's forests, oceans, and lakes, thus possessing an energy that connects with the earth, allowing for the reception of messages from both the earth and the universe.
**Malachite**
Malachite has a long history in human civilization. Ancient Romans, believing in its divine power, dedicated it to Juno, the goddess with the peacock as her totem, from which it derives its name.
The green of malachite is acclaimed as the purest and most vibrant green, featuring unique bands of varying shades and textures, exuding a refined and captivating elegance.
Malachite is considered a healing gemstone, capable of purifying and activating the body's chakras, particularly the heart and throat chakras.
Since ancient times, the energy of malachite has protected people from misfortune, contributed to business success, and fostered love, peace, and stability.
**Tourmaline**
Tourmaline, also known as *dianqishi* (electric stone) and rainbow gemstone, possesses extremely potent energy. Its vibrant, diverse colors and high transparency have made it cherished since antiquity.
Tourmaline boasts a rich spectrum of colors, encompassing all seven colors, allowing its energy to correspond to the various chakras of the body.
When selecting tourmaline, attention should be paid to its color and clarity. Most tourmalines exhibit dichroism (coexisting colors), making pure single-colored specimens exceptionally rare.

**◈ On Usage and Collection**
1. Natural gemstones possess natural luster and unique textures (fine black dots, stone patterns, ice cracks, clouds, mineral flaws, asymmetry, and other natural details). When worn frequently, you will observe subtle color changes in the natural gemstones, which often become more translucent and captivating—this is also the best method of care.
Natural organic gemstones (such as coral, amber) have low hardness and are sensitive to acids and alkalis. When encountering dirt, avoid washing with cleaning agents; simply rinse with clean water and wipe with a soft cloth. You may also use a soft brush with a small amount of mineral oil (such as baby oil) for gentle polishing and care.
2. Metal jewelry has a very long lifespan. Avoid external damage or strong acids and alkalis that may cause fading.
3. Fabric materials (ribbons, cotton, gauze) have a soft and comfortable texture and a long lifespan. Avoid high temperatures, external damage, or strong acids and alkalis that may cause fading.
4. For jewelry of any material, when encountering dirt, it is advisable to wipe with a soft cloth dipped in clean water as appropriate, or use a moderate amount of neutral detergent for suitable materials. After washing, ensure it is dried promptly.
5. When jewelry is removed, it should be properly packaged and stored, shielded from excess air to slow down oxidation and discoloration. Avoid stacking or placing heavy objects on it.
