This laundry pin brooch is made from antique uranium glass, a delicately decorated brass cap, generous bells, and Afghan parts.
The unique semi-clear green beads are colored with tiny amounts of uranium, and they glow under a black light!
Bohemian beads, also known as Vaseline. (Early 20th century)
*There are small scratches and a thin chip on the bottom.
(Uranium glass size: length 1.1cm, width 1.6cm)
It is paired with a beautiful brass cap with openwork design.
Two cut amethysts and Venetian lapis lazuli antique beads are hidden inside the openwork brass cap.
The bells are a little crooked and have uneven coloring. They have a really handmade feel to them, which is adorable! I used two different sizes of bells.
The square-shaped parts are from Afghanistan. They are old items that were used for ethnic costumes and accessories.
I use a vintage laundry pin that arrived from America.
It was originally used in America to manage laundry.
It is engraved with "H" and "20".
The pin is 5cm long and approximately 1.8mm thick.
This is a voluminous pin brooch that makes a chirping sound.
Length: Approx. 5cm (pin length)
Weight: Approx. 15.2g
Material: Glass, brass, mixed metal, amethyst
