Did you know?
Flowers have their own hidden rhythm.
Learn to understand the structure, proportion, and space of a flower.
Even as a beginner with no prior experience,
you can follow step-by-step instructions to create your own clay butterfly ranunculus.
The works in the photos were all completed by students themselves.
Most were experiencing clay flower making for the first time.
Under the instructor's guidance, from observation and deconstruction to actual creation,
they were able to gradually grasp the form and three-dimensional presence of the flowers.
Starting with the "beginning, development, twist, and completion" of a single petal,
deconstruct the layers of the butterfly ranunculus petals,
understand how it grows, how it turns,
and the position of each petal in space.
What you learn is not just how to make a flower,
but slowly learning how to see the flower.
