This process creates a "lightness" and "softness," and we value the relaxed, natural texture that allows you to enjoy "aging" rather than "deterioration." Because we use shuttle looms that are over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving flaws" may appear, which can look like "frays" at first glance. These are unavoidable when using old machinery. However, in addition to thorough quality control at the factory, we make efforts to avoid them as much as possible when cutting the fabric, and if found, we use them in less conspicuous areas. Nevertheless, due to the nature of the machinery, it is impossible to eliminate them completely.
