Each pen is entirely unique, with slight variations from the handmade firing process. (For example, the body and nib may not be perfectly straight, the surface might not be entirely smooth, some textures may feel raised or indented to the touch, and the ink grooves might not be perfectly equidistant.) Every glass pen possesses its own unique life, warmth, feel in hand, writing experience, pattern, and length – all completely distinct. 【How to Use】 Dip the nib into ink, about 1/3 to more than half full, to begin writing. (Avoid striking the bottom of the ink bottle.) The writing feel and line thickness will vary depending on the angle at which each pen is held. Some angles may not be suitable for writing; experiment to find the angle that best suits your writing style. After use, rinse the nib with clean water. If any residual ink remains in the grooves after rinsing, gently brush with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Allow to air dry before storing. Do not drop. ★ Some initial scratching on the paper is normal when first using the pen. ★ To remove the protective cap, do not pull it off in a straight horizontal motion (this can damage the nib). Instead, twist it in opposite directions to release. ★ Each pen features unique, naturally occurring bubbles or bubble patterns. ★ Please use fountain pen ink. ★ For calligraphy practice, consider selecting a hard-pen copybook. ★ Includes a small ink sample (5ml) and a storage box. (★ Due to shipping regulations for liquids, ink samples cannot be included for international orders.) ★ Repairs for damage will incur a fee based on the extent of the damage.
