Avoid wearing it with white clothing when you first start using it. ◾️ Scars and Vein Marks Scars and vein marks from the animal's life are preserved on the surface and back. This natural leather, intentionally crafted to showcase its character, makes each piece unique. ◾️ Color Variation As the leather is finished using only dyes and no pigments, color adjustment is challenging, leading to inevitable color variations. Even within the same color, there can be differences. This dye finish contributes to the natural, characteristic texture of the leather. ◾️ Variation in Texture and Grain The grain refers to the wrinkled pattern on the leather surface. The density of this pattern varies across a single hide. These differences are part of the charm of natural leather. ◾️ Numbers Indicating Italian Leather and Hide Size The numbers on the back are a mark of Italian leather and indicate the size of the hide. Each hide is stamped with a single number. The lettering has a distinct character, and it is printed on high-quality sections, so we leave it as is. Therefore, it may occasionally appear on the product. Personally, I favor items with these numbers. ◾️ Water Stains The leather can absorb water, leading to stains. If it gets wet, wiping it dry as soon as possible can help prevent stains. Applying a leather treatment like Renapur can provide water-repellent properties. ◾️ Shagreen (Tora) This refers to the streaks and wrinkles that appear in areas of intense muscular movement and stretching. It is a distinctive characteristic of natural leather and is not a sign of cracking or splitting. ◾️ Luxurious All-Leather Construction Without Lining Typical leather goods are made by bonding thin leather with core materials for strength, and often have linings. However, unlike leather, linings can degrade over time, becoming sticky or peeling. To ensure longevity, this item is crafted using only substantial leather, utilizing its thickness and strength without a lining. ◾️ Maintenance The Italian leather used by LADIES&GENTLEMEN develops a richer patina and deeper luster over time with oil maintenance. For bags, apply oil approximately once every 3 to 6 months. We recommend Renapur, available in our online store. Renapur is a leather treatment that conditions, adds shine, and provides water repellency. Small leather goods, being handled frequently, naturally develop a lustrous color change without the need for additional treatment. ◾️ Returns and Exchanges We do not accept returns or exchanges unless there is a defect in the product. In the event of damage or defects caused by shipping accidents, or if you receive an incorrect item, we will replace it at our expense. ◾️ Delivery Time As all items are made to order, please allow 2-3 weeks for small accessories and 3-4 weeks for bags.
