Blue Dogwood Brooch - Vintage Style Floral Accessory with Pearls

A brooch inspired by the Dogwood, a beloved flower of spring. Dogwood motifs are also a classic favorite in vintage jewelry designs from overseas. This "Blue" edition features petals that reveal a subtle iridescent shimmer depending on the angle of light. It has a sophisticated matte, polarized pearl finish in a gentle dusty blue—perfect for an elegant, mature look. The bloom is surrounded by a refined selection of Czech beads and two types of large resin pearls, carefully chosen for their unique hues. Each Czech bead was picked to complement the Dogwood's color. We’ve blended a variety of textures, including opal, transparent, and "givre" (looking like a drop of ink in crystal), along with pearls and surface-treated beads that add nuance to the color. This creates a rich, tonal look that remains visually captivating. Despite their large size, the pearls are made of resin, making the brooch surprisingly lightweight. The first type is the "Moon Pearl" in white, which reveals a faint, beautiful blue glow depending on the light. The second type is the "Ceras Pearl," featuring a clear base with various shimmering colors—much like a soap bubble! Set on a vintage-style antique gold base, it takes on a bluish tint, creating an atmosphere that exceeds expectations. Tucked away within this Blue Dogwood brooch is a "hidden" Alexandrite-colored bead. This mysterious bead shifts from light blue to purple depending on the light source. When cleaning, please wipe gently without applying too much pressure, as dust can be slightly tricky to remove. If the surface feels tacky, applying a small amount of translucent powder (like silk powder) will help. Slight color unevenness may be visible on the flower's coating (as seen in Image 6). Czech beads may have minor surface indentations, scratches, or internal bubbles. Shapes and colors may also vary slightly per bead; please appreciate these as unique characteristics of Czech glass. Parts are hand-attached to the base using monofilament thread. They may feel slightly mobile, but they are securely fastened to ensure they will not fall off. Beads are arranged to hide the base "shower plate" as much as possible, though the base may be visible around the prongs used for securing parts. Each piece is handmade, so size and shape may vary slightly. As this is a delicate item, please handle it with care. Avoid wearing on fabrics where pinholes would be easily noticeable.
