A stage is essential for the puppet characters to come alive. As the saying goes, "Life is like a play," or perhaps, "A play is like life"... [The Origin of the Name "Tinplate"] Tinplate was formerly known as "Yang Tie" (洋鐵). Its official name is "tin-plated steel sheet." The first batch of this material imported to China during the mid-Qing Dynasty came from Macau. The Chinese pronunciation of Macau at the time sounded like "Ma Kou" (馬口), hence it became commonly known as "Ma Kou Tie" (馬口鐵). ]https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50329448686_5c619346d4_k.jpg ※Please note when ordering!
