Exposure to water, sweat, and air can deepen its color. While some appreciate this natural patina, you can prevent it by following these tips: ♦ Avoid contact with water. ♦ Store in a resealable bag when not being worn. If the luster appears to diminish, these simple methods can help restore your jewelry to its original brilliance. Please note that while color can be restored if worn down, the original shine may not return (though the matte, vintage brass finish is also beautiful!). ♦ Use a toothbrush with a small amount of foaming toothpaste or tooth powder and gently brush the brass, similar to brushing your teeth, to restore its shine.
