【About the Artist】Black Ear
The name "Black Ear" represents the black cat by my side. I chose it to firmly remember this most precious child in my life in the distant future! I love animals (especially fish), I love the natural ecosystem, and I am passionate about observing the subtle details of everyday life. This often brings me satisfaction as I depict small objects and delightful surprises in my work! Ever since I encountered picture book creation during my student years, I've been immersed in a world of stories; reading picture books, buying picture books, and then, creating my own picture books!
