While the [meshell 1] was a vertically oriented bag that emphasized storage capacity, the [meshell 2] was created with the concept of being a 2-way bag, usable as both a shoulder bag and a handbag, suitable for formal occasions. Similar to the [meshell 1], it has been designed to create a beautiful silhouette when worn over the shoulder. It is sized to hold a wallet, smartphone, handkerchief, and a small pouch. We believe it can be used for everything from everyday occasions to formal events. A large pocket has been added to the front. You can choose to display this charming side as the front, or turn it over to the side with the snap button for a more elegant impression, allowing you to enjoy two distinct looks. In professional terms, this is called "external stitching," where all stitches are visible. It has been meticulously crafted entirely by hand, with a focus on beauty. The leather used is cowhide tanned over a long period using a technique called "nikashi," which utilizes vegetable tannins. It also has water-repellent properties due to its oil content. It is supple, has a strong surface film, and is characterized by its resistance to scuffs and scratches. With use, it will gain a lustrous sheen and become softer, conforming to your touch. As we use materials that highlight the natural texture of leather, the pattern of wrinkles will vary from one piece to another, and minor scratches may be present.
