**◈ A Word from the Designer**
Thoughtfully designed with carefully selected natural **jadeite**.
The green hues in jadeite primarily stem from its **chromium** content, creating a spectrum of green tones:
1. A higher **chromium** concentration results in a vibrant **green** (true green), the most coveted color in jadeite's history.
2. **Floating flowers** refer to wisps of color, like threads, appearing on white jadeite. These are known as floating green flowers or floating blue flowers. Due to their natural formation, each display of floating flowers is unique, creating its own distinct landscape.
This piece features **ice jadeite with floating flowers**, possessing a luminous, moist sheen throughout. It is crafted into a **ring band** design, with two bands on one side, symbolizing the auspicious meaning of "double happiness."
Adorned with K-gold chains and intricately woven long tassels, it exudes a **classic elegance** and a profoundly **rich and graceful** aura.
**This is a singular piece, awaiting its noble and prosperous owner ^^**
**Jadeite**
Jadeite (Jadeite) is a sodium aluminum silicate. Globally, 90% is sourced from the high-pressure, low-temperature geological conditions in the mountainous regions of Myanmar, hence it is commonly known as "Burmese Jade."
During the Ming and Qing dynasties, jadeite was introduced to the Chinese imperial court. As jadeite often exhibits red and green colors, it was named after the bird "feicui" (meaning jadeite). (There is a bird with very vibrant plumage: the male's feathers are red, named "fei bird," and the female's are green, named "cui bird," together called "feicui.")
However, the colors of jadeite vary greatly due to different mineral compositions:
White (White Jadeite): The initial form of jadeite, free of impurities, making it rare.
Red (Red Jadeite): Contains trivalent iron, often forming on the outer layer of the raw stone, making it rare.
Black (Ink Velvet Jadeite): Contains chromium.
Green (Green Jadeite): Contains chromium and ferrous iron.
Yellow (Yellow Jadeite): Contains iron, often forming on the outer layer of the raw stone, making it rare.
Purple (Lavender): Contains manganese, formed by chance, making it rare.
Blue (Blue Water): Contains chromium and ferrous iron, formed by chance, making it rare.
Like most gemstones, jadeite often exhibits multi-color co-existence (composite colors):
**Green and Purple Co-existing: Called "Chun Dai Cai" (Spring with Color) or "Chun Dai Cai" (Spring with Fortune, as purple symbolizes spring, and green symbolizes color/fortune).**
Yellow, Green, and Purple Co-existing: Called "Three Colors."
Yellow and Green Co-existing: Called "Yellow Plus Green."
**Thumb Ring (Ring Band, Ring)**
The ring (ring band) originated from the thumb ring.
Thumb rings, also known as "ban zhi," "ban zhi," or "bang zhi," were tubular protective gear worn on the thumb by ancient archers, made of leather or animal bone, to prevent the arrow shaft from scratching the thumb. After the Manchu Qing dynasty, this tubular protective gear evolved into decorative items made from hard, precious materials such as gold, silver, jade, agate, jadeite, turquoise, and ivory, symbolizing power and status.
Traditional thumb rings were divided into "civil" and "military" types based on their size and thickness. Military thumb rings were often simple and plain, while civil thumb rings typically featured calligraphy or patterns on their outer surfaces. Thumb rings made of precious materials were exclusively for royalty and nobility. Thumb rings worn by ordinary people were most commonly made of Hetian jade, ivory, or porcelain.
In ancient times, the distinction in thumb ring materials served as a mark of social status and carried a cautionary implication, thus evolving into today's rings.

**◈ On Care and Collection**
1. Natural gemstones possess a natural luster and unique textures (fine black spots, stone patterns, ice cracks, cloudiness, mineral inclusions, asymmetrical details, etc.). When worn frequently, you may observe subtle color changes in the natural gemstone, often making it appear more translucent and captivating. This is also the best method for its maintenance.
Natural organic gemstones (such as coral and amber) have low hardness and are sensitive to acids and alkalis. If stained, avoid using detergents. Clean with water and wipe with a soft cloth. You may also use a soft brush dipped in a small amount of mineral oil (like baby oil) for gentle care.
2. Metal jewelry has a long lifespan, provided it is protected from external damage or exposure to strong acids and alkalis that could cause discoloration.
3. Fabric components (ribbons, cotton, gauze) are soft and comfortable, with a long lifespan, provided they are protected from high temperatures, external damage, or exposure to strong acids and alkalis that could cause discoloration.
4. For jewelry of any material, when soiled, gently wipe with a soft cloth dampened with water as appropriate. For suitable materials, a small amount of neutral detergent may be used. Ensure the item is completely dry soon after washing.
5. When jewelry is removed, store it properly in its packaging, minimizing exposure to excess air to slow down oxidation and discoloration. Avoid stacking or applying heavy pressure.
