This time, the theme is doughs we usually make—cinnamon rolls and butter rolls. When the doughs are rolled up, they look like a white snake! At home, the three little ones are like the rosemary on top of focaccia. They’re always around me. Though sometimes it can be exhausting managing the kids, without them, it’s like rosemary without its flavor, and that just doesn’t work. I could say that without them, I wouldn’t be who I am today.
It was during the pandemic, when everyone stayed home, that I started baking bread and making cinnamon rolls… I’m especially remembering that now!
None of us know how this year will turn out, but what matters most is seizing the moment—just like kneading dough. Shape it as close as you can to your ideal, and even if it doesn’t come out perfect, that’s okay. The important thing is to feel and experience it. The bread will still turn out delicious. That’s the flavor of life!
I hope everyone can knead their own wonderful year into being!🐍
