In the early days of 1924, the founder, Ye A-Tian, established "Ye A-Tian Blacksmith Shop," producing "agricultural knives" using traditional hand-forging methods. The sickles, hoes, and pruning shears produced at the time were widely known and marked the earliest origins of Ye Tian knives.
In 1980, the fourth generation took over and began producing household kitchen knives, extensively applying Japanese clad steel technology. The company started transforming into an OEM factory for major brands, producing knives for various cutlery brands across Taiwan.
In 1990, the company was renamed "Ye Tian Knife Manufacturing Co., Ltd."
