**▉ British Telephone Box ▉**
The dome and bright red exterior is characteristic of the British telephone box(called "K2"), originally designed by architect Giles Gilbert Scott in 1926. With the privatization of the British telecommunications industry and the rise of mobile phones, these telephone boxes began to disappear in the 1980s and were sent to disposal area.
In recent years, artists have used creativity to revitalize these abandoned telephone boxes. These telephone boxes have become installation art or instant bookstores on the street, and even emergency ambulance stations with heart defibrillators. The modified telephone box has once again appeared in the corner of the city or country.
The designer recreates London's classic landmarks, using the various characteristics of synthetic paper to design a multi-functional phone box that can accommodate things, as a pen holder, as a small plant pot, or even as a night light on the bedside.

**◆What is "synthetic paper"? **
In the late 1960s, the demand for paper in the world increased, but the number of trees as raw materials for paper was decreasing. Therefore, synthetic paper using polymer compounds instead of plant fibers was developed.
Synthetic paper has a smooth surface that looks like plastic, but it retains the characteristics of the paper. Synthetic paper is stronger and more flexible than ordinary paper. It has high light transmission, can be washed, can be bent, is not easy to break, and can withstand high temperatures of 200 degrees; at the same time, synthetic paper can also be printed.
