The "Hanagara KAMI" series, much like this tranquil scene, draws inspiration from Japan's formal "Yusoku Monoyo" patterns. It allows ancient traditions and contemporary craftsmanship to whisper across interwoven timelines. The openwork maple wood frame outlines a soul sculpted by time, complemented by the lustrous radiance of washi paper, refined over years. The understated wood and the vibrant paper patterns interplay, shimmering with the light. They reveal the timeless beauty of the motifs across history and the aged elegance of washi paper, as if peering through an old window at the passage of eras, each transformation unique. The artisan's dedication and exquisite craftsmanship allow colors and brilliance to quietly bloom in everyday life, continuing to tell a story of delicate and enduring beauty.
__All products from "Mokukaimoku" are independently designed by our studio's designers and produced in small batches, so inventory for each style and color combination is limited.__
__If in stock, orders will be shipped within 2-5 business days; if not in stock, orders will be shipped within 7-10 business days. Please feel free to message us with any questions before placing your order.__
**【Yusoku Monoyo ゆうそく もんよう】**
Originating from Japan's ancient ceremonial culture, these are formal patterns established according to the styles of imperial court and samurai attire. The term "Yusoku" comes from "Yusoku Kojitsu" (ゆうそくこじつ), the study of ancient court rituals and clothing systems. These patterns, prevalent from the Heian to Edo periods, were widely used on the clothing, objects, and tents of nobles and samurai. They are rigorously designed, auspicious in meaning, and carry the spirit of class, etiquette, and traditional Japanese aesthetics.
**【Tatewaku たて わく】**
Depicting the image of rising vapor with interlacing curves, this motif symbolizes rising fortunes and auspicious energy. It has been a popular pattern on noble attire since the Heian period.
