Nestled near the Himalayas, the goats of Kashmir develop a unique resilience against the extreme cold. Beyond their outer wool, they grow a layer of ultra-fine, soft underdown each late autumn, nestled between their skin and longer fibers, for enhanced warmth. This delicate, short down is what we call "Cashmere"—exceptionally lightweight, soft, and incredibly warm.

Recommended Cleaning Method
1 - Fill a basin with an appropriate amount of laundry powder and lukewarm water, stirring to dissolve. Lay the scarf flat in the basin, and gently press it up and down with both hands 20-30 times. This allows the detergent solution to flow through the scarf's fibers, preventing them from tangling.
2 - Rinse using the same method until the scarf is clean.
3 - Gently squeeze out excess water. To dry, lay the scarf flat on a towel or drying rack in a cool, shaded area. Avoid direct sunlight, as UV rays can cause the wool to yellow.
