Creator: Tzu-ching | Down Syndrome
Maria Social Welfare Foundation - Baking Class
Tzu-ching is a "Tang Bao Bao" (a term for individuals with Down Syndrome). Although her cognitive development is delayed, she is very sensitive to music and loves to sing. Whenever she hears a melody, her body naturally sways to the rhythm!
In her daily work at the baking group, her favorite task, which other classmates dislike, is washing baking trays. This is because she enjoys playing with water and can also perform intricate piping work that others find challenging.
While she may have less experience in drawing and requires more time than her peers to develop lines and compositions, Tzu-ching's joyful spirit shines through in everything she does!

- The ASEAN Square features pointed, triangular pyramids with yellow grids on top, reminiscent of the individual pieces of oatmeal cookies I made. The green grids mirror the color of the coconut juice I drank at a Vietnamese store. I curiously tried some insect crackers from Thailand!
