**Japanese Sea Lion**
The Japanese sea lion was a species of sea lion that has been declared extinct. Its historical range included the Sea of Japan, the southern Sea of Okhotsk, and the Pacific coast north of Shizuoka Prefecture.
Historically, Japanese sea lions were hunted by humans for their blubber, which was used for lighting, and their internal organs, which were valued as medicine. During the Edo period, the shogunate implemented conservation policies, which led to a stable population. Sea lions even bred in Tokyo Bay and Sagami Bay during this time. However, after the fall of the shogunate, the restrictions on hunting were lifted, and commercial overhunting of sea lions began. The outbreak of World War II further accelerated their extinction as their habitat was destroyed.
**IUCN Status: Extinct (EX)**

Q: What is ironing embroidery?
This embroidery patch has an adhesive backing, allowing you to iron it onto clothing, canvas bags, hats, and more. Follow these steps for application:
1. Remove the green clay backing used for fixation.
2. Place the ironing patch in the desired position. Cover it with a cloth about the thickness of a handkerchief to prevent damage to the embroidery and garment from high heat.
3. Set your iron to its highest temperature and press down for over 30 seconds, ensuring the edges adhere completely to the surface.
4. Allow the ironing embroidery to cool before use.
*Do not use a steam iron.
*Do not apply to nylon, silk, waterproof materials, sweaters, or down-filled clothing.
*Do not allow children to operate this product unsupervised.

- Though we may never have the chance to see these creatures with our own eyes, they once existed. These animals were once magnificent and beautiful, only to be lost to extinction because of humanity. If we fail to learn from the past and allow all the world's wild animals to vanish, leaving only livestock behind fences and cages, how desolate will our planet become?
