Use it as a trivet and coaster to protect your kitchen counter or dining table top. Or slip your hand into the flaps behind when using it as a pot-holder to retrieve burning pots and trays from the oven and stove. A loop is attached for convenient hanging within reach. This pot holder is based on the familiar Marie Biscuit, aka the rich tea biscuit, which is found in many countries (with slight variations in embossed lettering, etc).
